Hoje, tivemos o nosso primeiro dia de clínica do estágio IV. Acordei mega cedo, cheguei ansiosa na faculdade. Adoro estar em clínica, adoro o contato com o paciente, a corrida do dia-a-dia e há nada que eu ache mais lindo do que a clínica toda produzindo, todo mundo com paciente.
Quanto mais simples o paciente mais prazeroso é o atendimento. E hoje presenciei algo que considerei importantíssimo e de uma delicadeza ( me sensibilizo muiito fácil). A paciente da minha colega era surda-muda e ela comunicou-se o tempo todo com ela pela linguagem dos sinais. Esse atendimento despertou em mim a dúvida estamos preparados para atender a demanda de paciente com alguma necessidade especial?? Bem, depois de muito refletir, minha resposta seria não. Tudo bem que nossa clínica é toda acessível, possui elevadores para os cadeirantes e os pacientes q tenham alguma deficiência física, portas largas, banheiros adaptados e tal. Porém, eu acredito que eu e meus colegas com exceção de Meiry( minha colega que atendeu a paciente surda-muda) Não estamos preparados para atendermos pacientes com outras deficiências, como eu que não domino a linguagem dos sinais poderia me comunicar com um paciente desse tipo?
Será, que estamos cientes que grande parte da população possui alguma deficiência?? Será que estamos cientes dessas diferenças, no momento da montagem do nosso consultório??
São diversas perguntas sem respostas, e que considero q ainda terei no decorrer da minha graduação. Mas, eu acredito que precisamos mudar muito ainda não só como promovedores de saúde, mas também como cidadãos.
Mais do que adaptados a esse tipo de paciente precisamos integrá-los no nosso dia-a-dia, não tratá-los como diferentes por sua deficiência, mas sim com a diferença usada para cada paciente que é uma pessoa única, com problemas e desejos únicos.
Acredito que esse seja um dos maiores desafios da humanidade, aprender a interagir com as diferenças com naturalidade. E espero que consigamos superá-lo pois dessa maneira nos tornaremos pessoas melhores e a mudança no mundo começa por nós. Pequenas atitudes, mudanças no dia-dia fazem toda a diferença.

Irrespective of receiving daily oral or future injectable depot therapies, these require health care visits for medication and monitoring of safety and response.
